Bought a 2022 edition of the 1965 film “Major Dundee” on Blu-ray. I absolutely love this film. With guys like Charlton Heston, Richard Harris and James Coburn doing their thing, with Sam Peckinpah directing, it is pretty epic. Apparently, the studio did not like the original cut and took it away from Sam, so we will never know exactly what it could have been. Still great. This is a forgotten art. Hollywood will never come up with stuff like this again. We also get loads of bonus material here, including a feature length documentary by film buff Mike Siegel. Priceless stuff.
