Got to get that hobby room

Posted: January 20, 2018 in Magazines, General, Hobby

UK publication Tamiya Model Magazine (issue) 268. I will add this issue to the old collection.

Nice cover.

Whitesnake´s “The Purple Tour” arrived here yesterday in two formats. Watched the DVD first and it was a goodie (did miss “You Keep On Moving” on it though). Well edited and strong material performed by good players. “The Gypsy” and “Mistreated” are two Purple songs that work very well here. Of course you get the Whitesnake classics too, the mix is very good.

Love the gatefold sleeve of the LP version.

Vinland Vikings

This looks like a good read. Canada´s History (February/March 2018).

The stuff of legends.

Made in Russia

This is a good cover. Russian edition of Maxim (February 2018). I like the idea of spelling the models name on that glass.

The Meme Wars

Posted: January 20, 2018 in General

Watching this unfold is unbelievable. Twitter has allegedly e-mailed 677,775 american users that have been involved in spreading what you could call “the Q memo” (see earlier posts) asking questions. MSM is talking Russian narrative…

Lionel Nation has his take on this here.

I have pointed you to this now because of its historical importance – take it or leave it.

(Seen here is a recent meme)

For Mikio

Posted: January 20, 2018 in Babymetal, Classic Rock, General

This is good to see. Friends of Mikio Fujioka will gather at the Club Citta venue in Kawasaki on April 23 to play a memorial concert with all proceedings going to his family. No word if any of the girls from Babymetal will attend briefly but realistically you could never announce something like that and avoid a stampede. Maybe a Mikio t-shirt could be for sale on Babymetal shows?

I think fans would like to support this too.
