Well we have a young female band called Petch coming out of Thailand and although they are still teens (they are all between 13 and 15) they can certainly play. There is an official video for a track called “Hatemail” that is very very good. And I mean Top Notch good. Not a lot of information out there as yet but they nearly got to play alongside Deep Purple, Alice Cooper and Blondie at the Australian Pandemonium Festivals a few weeks ago. The Festival run into financial troubles though and Purple and others quit, and sadly Petch could not be there either. It speaks volumes though that such a young act was initially considered for such an event as a four day Festival across Australia. Early days, but if The Warning from Mexico could do it why not this band? I wish them all the best as they take on the future.
