Evolution

Formed in 2008 in Japan, Unlucky Morpheus describes themselves as Technical Melodic Speed Metal. Influences like Yngwie Malmsteen and Rainbow can be heard. They have an excellent singer in Tenge Fujuki. Very strong musicianship, which includes violin (by Jill) which is very cool. Gives them an European twist. They have released many albums and they are well respected in Japan. In 2018 they made history when they released the single “Cadaver”/”Revadac”, wich had the second song performed backwards. “Evolution” (2022) is their latest studio release and singer Fujuki can be seen on the cover. I highly recommend this album and worthy of note is also the fact that they have just released a live album/DVD in Japan called “Evolution & Diversity Live 2022 At Zepp DiverCity”.
