In late 1980, Polydor issued this live compilation album of various tracks with the artists that had performed at the first Monsters Of Rock festival in the UK. It was basically produced by then Rainbow (and now Deep Purple) bass player Roger Glover at Sweet Silent Studios in Copenhagen. Same place that Rainbow had used for “Difficult To Cure” at the time. Sadly, albums such as this were not common. Today, looking back, good or bad, it is a nice looking release. Showcasing both the front and the back, plus a spread in my publication Deep Purple Forever issue 26 (April 2000), with a review of said album that I had had in Swedish newspaper HD on December 17 1980 plus a scanned spread from a Japanese magazine on the right page from back in the day (not sure about the details there, it has been a long time). That issue of DPF was dedicated to this version of Rainbow.
