Watched the new Swedish DVD release of the 1965 comedy “Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines (Or, How I Flew From London To Paris In 25 Hours And 11 Minutes)” this weekend. Jam packed with wonderful talent (Terry-Thomas alone as the archetypal villain makes this an instant classic) and a never ending line of jokes and funny situations, it stands tall even today as one of the great comedies of the era. Digitally restored, it is a feast for the eyes, and I love the fact that they have decided to save this one for the future.

Amazing nostalgia.
