The classic UFO live album “Strangers In The Night” was released in early January 1979. It was the last UFO album of that era that featured Michael Schenker on guitar and he was certainly heralded as a rising star back in the day. He had taken UFO to new heights and it would be tough for them to top what had been after his departure, although they did some decent albums for years to come. Decades even. But this was one hell of a peak in their career.

They wern’t that kind to him. From the Hipgnosis book regarding the Obsession cover, to much merriment from the rest of the band he asked ‘Why don’t I have any balls?’
