The King´s Choice

Just watched the Norwegian WWII film “The King´s Choice” (“Kongens Nei”, 2016), a highly emotional portrait of the events that occured in 1940 when Hitler invaded Norway. In the end, the King would not, could not, surrender and give up the freedom of his people. Truly this epic film by director Erik Poppe is a masterpiece, with Germans speaking German and a real effort to portray 1940 as it really was. I realize that people outside of Scandinavia will probably not be aware of this film, but if you get a chance to see it you should take it.
