The whole point of being an opening act in a territory that has not yet been quite conquered is to get a buzz going. Well Babymetal is doing really well in the US right now as openers for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Good reviews are pouring in and US media just picked up the news about the Babymetal Festivals that are coming up in Japan in July and August and the fact that they are gender based etc. This is now a big deal. The current US trek will end on April 29 in Miami. The Korn Tour kicks off on June 18, two days after the headline show at the Hollywood Palladium. This will all help to gain momentum on the all important US market. It would help if the “Live At Wembley” and “Live At Tokyo Dome” DVDs saw release this summer, so let us hope for this to occour. Come 2018, I predict that Babymetal will be in a very good place. It would be a good time to release new studio product.
