Took a two hour walk in good company today and on my way home I popped into my local ICA grocery store (as you may know, I live in Jämtland County, Sweden). They are indeed out of Lettuce due to unusual weather conditions in Greece, Italy and Spain. As you can see, the store explains why the shelf is empty. My friend noted that the general prices of vegetables has gone up lately. In other words, imports are likely to come in from different markets for some time.
This is only the beginning, it is a signal that things are about to change.
